Wallk, Run & Bike Program

Proposal: Weather permitting, GRNW members will meet at Wentworth Park on select dates.  The group moderator will discuss ways to incorporate and promote health and wellness into your daily life and within the community.  Afterwards, groups of 2 will patrol the neighborhood by covering one of the 4 zones in our area (see map below).  If there are less than 4 groups, those on bike will cover multiple zones.  If there are more than 4 groups, each additional group will help cover a zone.  Individuals not able to cover a zone are encouraged to join the group and patrol around Wentworth Park.

Purpose: The purpose of this program is 2-fold. (1) Look out for our neighbors by actively patrolling our neighborhood and educating residents about the GRNW program.  (2) Promote health and wellness within our community.

Group moderator: Jay Sikorski is a Certified Health Fitness Specialist with the American College of Sports Medicine and will be available to answer questions and provide guidance to any GRNW member.
